ITS ABOUT TIME!!!! Finally, some reassurance that they iPhone5 (we think) is coming out. Apple is hosting its next event (titled Let’s talk iPhone) at its Cupertino, California headquarters on Oct. 4. In this upcoming Apple event, we will finally know if we are getting the iPhone5, the iPhone4S or something else. Here at ItsHeyNow.com we’re all about bringing you the latest and greatest, so let’s do a little recap of this past Monday’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference. Steve Jobs and company used this event to introduce new software. However, the big question was whether the iPhone 5 would be introduced. The end of the event even had an “and there’s more” moment, but it wasn’t the availability of the iPhone 5 (just yet).
One of the big introductions were a new operating system for the Mac, dubbed Lion which will be osX 10.7.
Rather than bore you with all the features of the new introductions I’m going to include official links from Apple this week.
It will be available in July and can only be downloaded from the App Store for $29.99 there will be no disks available.
The second thing to drop was iOS 5 which will be available for upgrade in the fall for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches.

This will be available in the fall which coincidently enough is in line with rumors of the iPhone 5 being released in September rather than the usual product cycle of summer.
The final thing is the death to MobileMe and it being replaced by iCloud.
Cloud computing is the new fad all over as a way to save information and setting across multiple platforms.

Hello everyone and welcome to Tech Thursdays where I will give my review on the Blackberry Playbook. I know everyone is going crazy over the Ipad2 but yesterday, I fell in love with the Blackberry Playbook.
It all started when I got a text from my friend Ernest. He sent a message saying , “Jon, I have the PERFECT gadget for you to put on Tech Thursdays! Meet me at Starbucks.” So, me being the coolest guy you know, I stroll in Starbucks and said to Ernest, “Whats up! What do you have for me?” And he shows me the New Blackberry Playbook.
At first I was thinking, there’s no way this can compete with the Ipad2 BUT after playing with it, I guarantee it will give the Ipad2 a run for its money.
Here are a few things I loved about it:
·True multitasking: I literally had a slideshow going on, a movie playing (in full 1080p) browsing the internet while looking at Ernest in the camera (in full 1080p) all at the same time and the playbook DID NOT SLOW DOWN AT ALL!!! It completely blew me away!
·Ultra portable: The Blackberry Playbook is less than 1 pound with a 7 inch LCD screen. It is small enough to put anywhere, like a book bag or small case and still take advantage of the nice size screen.
·Full HD screen: With full 1080p video, not only can you watch movies in full HD, but you record in full HD. The crystal clear quality from the front and back camera is enough to make your head spin!
·Built in flash web browsing: With built in flash web browsing ability, your internet browsing capability is endless.
· Also the new operating system is made specifically for the PlayBook and takes advantage of the dual core 1 ghz processor and 1 gb of ram.

L.A. Pride is a true sports enthusiast. A former youth, and division II assistant basketball coach, who studied the martial arts, he enjoys and follows all sports, even hockey. His quick wit and insight brings a fresh view to the world of sports. You may not always agree with him, but you will enjoy his highly opinionated thoughts.

Or is The Final Four the catchiest name in sports? (Okay, the frozen four, for college hockey, is pretty cool too.) Now that the final four teams are set in the NCAA, congrats to Butler, Uconn, VCU and Kentucky.

Or should we stop using the term Mid-Major for college basketball teams that have proven over the years they can play with the big boys, e.g., Butler? Butler has made it to the final four two years in a row, where are my beloved Tar Heels this year?

Or did I miss the apologies to VCU from the ESPN announcers? They ripped the selection of VCU on Selection Sunday. Apparently the real basketball experts were on the selection committee, and not on camera. Congrats, again, to VCU.

Or did we forget the ladies tournament in Basketball? Not really, but the thrill is just not there. It is a safe bet that Uconn, will win the championship; just a matter of who they will play. No drama for the mamas.
By the way, does Coach Summitt, Tennessee, have a stare or what? She is a great coach and would do just fine coaching guys. Tennessee should have offered her the men’s job. It would have made a great story and generated a lot of publicity, and she would have done a great job. Not happening, Good luck to Coach Martin at Tennessee.

Or did the Nuggets get the best of the Carmelo trade? The Nuggets have a better record than the Knicks since the trade and are playing exciting ball. The Knicks look lost and confused-… and what else is new.

Or is the Mike D’Antoni watch officially on? I know the coach doesn’t suit up and play, but someone has to take the hit. The Knicks are terrible! The Knicks do not currently have the personnel to play the way D’Antoni coaches. Coach D likes to run and gun, but his best player wants to catch the ball and play one on one.
Someone has to give in…and Carmelo wears the sneakers. Nice job Monday night, Carmelo- 39 points and a victory.

Or have the Chicago Bulls quietly become one of the best teams in basketball. They currently sit on top of the Eastern Conference and are showing no signs of slowing down. If they stay healthy they will be a force to deal with in the playoffs. Can you name their big three? ( I will give you Rose.)

Or do you dread the thought of 162 game baseball season, before the playoffs? Baseball is an ultra marathon, it goes on forever.

Or does baseball have statistics for EVERYTHING. Most left field hits by a right handed fielding first baseman, who bats left handed, and has two moles on his left hand versus a right-handed pitcher, who … you get my drift.

Or does Hockey and NASCAR have the same problem? We only watch to see a fight or a collision.
